San Antonio-area volleyball regional semifinal and TAPPS state playoff scoreboard

In a series of volleyball matches across San Antonio-area high schools, teams competed in various divisions for a spot in the regional semifinals and TAPPS state tournament. The regional semifinals commenced on Thursday, October 29, 2026, while the TAPPS state tournament took place on Friday and Saturday in locations around Waco.

Several school teams secured victories, advancing to the next round. Brandeis volleyball team defeated Laredo Alexander with a score of 3-1, winning three sets to 1. In the Class 5A Division I match, Smithson Valley triumphed over CC Flour Bluff with a 3-0 score, outscoring their opponents 25-19, 25-22, and 25-22. The Class 5A Division II game between Boerne and Sharyland Pioneer saw Boerne claim the win with a 3-0 score, adding 25-22 and 25-22 scores to their tally. Boerne also won against Sharyland by a 3-0 score, with a 25-22 and 25-22 result in their favor.

Class 4A Division I match saw Kerrville Tivy emerge victorious over Floresville, winning the game with a 3-0 score, scoring 25-19, 25-22, and 25-9. The TVY noted key performances with Danica Blaker and Karlynn Way having 9 points each, Rylie Coates with 35 points, and Coates adding 2 and 2 blocks respectively. Davenport defeated La Vernia in a 3-0 score, winning the game with a 25-20, 26-24, and 26-24 score. Navarro overcame Wimberley with a 3-2 score, winning 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, and 19-25.

Kingsville Santa Gertrudis defeated Stockdale by a 3-2 score in a Class 3A Division II match. Skidmore-Tynan secured a 3-0 victory over Stacey in Class 2A Division I, scoring 25-15, 25-18, and 25-14. In TAPPS 6A matches, Fort Worth Nolan beat Plano Prestonwood with a 4 p.m. Saturday final at Robinson High School, while Antonian faced Tomball Concordia Lutheran with a 4 p.m. Saturday final at Waco University High School.
