Other Worlds: A Stranger Things Adventure

Netflix has announced a new prequel series called Other Worlds: A Stranger Things Adventure, set to release in 2028. The prequel is created by the original Stranger Things writers, the Duffer Brothers, along with Stranger Things writer and The First Shadow playwright Kate Trefry. The series comes as part of Stranger Things Day, which marks the anniversary of Will Byers' disappearance in 1981.

The Duffer Brothers expressed excitement about the series, describing it as "Stranger Things, but also thrillingly fresh, with a new setting, new heroes and villains, and new... actually, we're not allowed to say any more." The announcement was made on Stranger Things Day, which also features a teaser video showcasing an abandoned bicycle outside a government facility and a title card reading April 19, 1955 in Marion, Nevada.
