Ole Miss football is set for a Week 10 home game against Georgia with major CFP implications. Follow for live updates from the game.
Oxford, Mississippi — The outcome of Ole Miss football's season is heavily dependent on the crucial Week 10 showdown against Georgia. Ole Miss, currently ranked No. 10 in the initial College Football Playoff poll, will welcome No. 2 Georgia on November 7 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, with a kickoff time of 6:30 p.m. on ABC.
The Georgia Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1) are favored to win, given their strong performance this season. In contrast, the Ole Miss Rebels (6-2, 4-2 SEC) are striving to secure a significant victory that could propel them higher in the rankings. This matchup represents an emerging rivalry within the SEC.
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium's location presents an advantage for Ole Miss, as it has a strong home record since the 2023 season, sitting at 26-1. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss will lead the Rebels on this critical day; however, he will be without star running back Kewan Lacy, who will miss the game due to a shoulder injury. This is the second time Ole Miss and Georgia have faced off; Ole Miss emerged victorious in the first encounter, defeating Georgia 39-34 in the Sugar Bowl during the 2025 CFP.
The Clarion Ledger will provide live updates throughout the game, keeping fans informed about the progress and any significant developments.
