Miami vs Notre Dame live updates: Time, TV, predictions for Week 10 game

The Miami Hurricanes are set to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in an eagerly anticipated Week 10 matchup. Both teams are hoping to prove their worth, with Miami entering as the No. 1 ranked undefeated team and Notre Dame as the sixth-ranked squad. Last year's game at Miami ended with a 27-24 victory for the Hurricanes, and this year's clash carries the weight of last year's bitter ending, as Notre Dame found themselves displaced from the College Football Playoff due to Miami's leapfrogging.

Notre Dame is understandably aggrieved over their treatment, which has fueled a palpable sense of resentment among their supporters. Their current standing of 11th in the initial College Football Playoff rankings, despite a 7-1 start to the season, suggests that the animosity between the two programs continues to simmer. With two Heisman Trophy contenders facing off, the game promises to be a showcase of talent.

However, Malachi Toney's recent ankle injury during practice casts a shadow over Miami's star-studded offense, leaving Darian Mensah to step up as the team's leading playmaker. Meanwhile, for Notre Dame, quarterback CJ Carr is eager to demonstrate his growth since their previous meeting last year, where he contributed three touchdowns.
