Mainz 05 vs. Bayern Munich: Match discussion, Game time thread, How to watch

Bayern Munich secured a dominant 2-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, marking their first-ever away win against the Spanish giants. The German powerhouse then heads to Mainz for an upcoming Bundesliga fixture. Mainz, who are currently languishing in ninth place, have had a mixed run of results in the league, winning only two of their last five matches.

Bayern, as the reigning champions, will likely view this game as a potential "trap game" where the outcome is not as assured as it may seem. The match is scheduled to take place at the Mewa Arena in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany on November 7, 2026, with kickoff at 3:30 PM local time. Fans can catch the live broadcast on Peacock (en español), USA/Fandango in the United States, and through the SBN App.

Analysis predicts a 3-0 win for Bayern, with goals from Kane, Upamecano, and Bischof.
