LuLu, MoCI launch campaign to promote Qatari products

LuLu Hypermarket Qatar has teamed up with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) to launch National Product Week 2026, running from November 1-15, 2026. The campaign, titled "From Us, For Us – The Story Begins in Qatar," aims to boost local product consumption, enhance Qatari brand visibility and bolster economic diversification.

During the week-long event, LuLu Hypermarket stores across Qatar will showcase a wide array of locally produced goods, spanning fresh produce, dairy, bakery items, health and beauty products, and more. Over 1,000 manufacturers will present over 2,300 products, highlighting Qatar's growing production capabilities and entrepreneurial spirit.

Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Albohashim Al Sayed, and LuLu Hypermarket Director, Shaijan, inaugurated the campaign, with support from the National Product Competitiveness Department and National Product Support Department. The initiative seeks to strengthen the domestic business ecosystem and promote a sustainable economy.

Customers can participate by purchasing Qatari-made products, with each purchase earning them an electronic raffle ticket. Twenty winners will each receive a QR 5,000 LuLu gift voucher, totaling QR 100,000 in prizes. The lucky draw will occur on December 17, 2026, at LuLu Hypermarket, D-Ring Road.

This collaboration between LuLu Hypermarket and the MoCI exemplifies the importance of supporting local industries and fostering economic growth, reinforcing the message that "From Us, For Us – The Story Begins in Qatar."
