A blast occurred at the Vasundhara police outpost in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram area on Friday, according to police. A delivery boy was injured in the incident, which took place within an air conditioning unit of the outpost. Photos from the scene showed the charred AC unit, shattered window glass, and sealed area around the outpost following the explosion.
Indirapuram Additional Chief Police Superintendent Suryabali Maurya stated that the precise nature of the object responsible for the blast would be revealed after a thorough investigation. "The exact nature of the object that caused the explosion will only be determined following an investigation," Maurya said. A sub-inspector from the Vasundhara police outpost and the delivery boy, who was delivering an item, were present at the scene.
The delivery boy sustained injuries from broken glass, Maurya added. Forensic teams, including Additional CP Raj Karan Nayar, arrived at the Vasundhara police outpost to investigate the incident.
