A passenger who was critically injured in a fatal road accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has passed away at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital in Sagamu, Ogun State, a report has revealed. The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency confirmed the news on Saturday, stating that the individual succumbed while receiving medical care.
TRACE Unit Commander, Cmdr Oridota P.O., provided the update following a visit to the hospital on Saturday morning. The Ogun State government previously disputed claims by Nollywood actor Kunle Afod that emergency responders were absent at the scene, asserting that an ambulance and FRSC personnel arrived at the accident site within 10 minutes of the incident being reported.
