UConn is set to host North Carolina in a Week 9 matchup on Saturday, Nov. 7. The game will take place at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Connecticut. Bill Belichick will make his return to New England, as he coached the Patriots before joining UConn's football program as a defensive coordinator. UConn is looking to offset their recent loss to Air Force, which ended a 35-26 scoreline.
North Carolina's offense will likely be more conventional in nature, providing an intriguing contrast to the Tar Heels' dominant performance against Miami last week. UConn's record against North Carolina is 1-3, but they did manage to defeat the Tar Heels 27-14 in their last meeting in the 2024 Fenway Bowl. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, with streaming options available through Fubo, which provides a free trial for new subscribers.
The predicted final score is North Carolina 27, UConn 21, although the game is expected to be tightly contested with the Tar Heels hopefully pulling away in the final moments. Tickets for the game can be purchased through Stubhub.
