KARACHI: DWP Technologies, an Apple Authorised Reseller, and GNEXT Technologies, an Apple Authorised Distributor, recently co-hosted the event "Working Beyond the Desktop" at a local hotel in Karachi. The gathering included senior professionals and decision-makers from prominent financial institutions, telecommunications companies, pharmaceutical organizations, engineering firms, and various other corporate sectors.

These attendees represented a range of positions including IT leadership, infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology operations, and procurement roles.

The event underscored the increasing significance of modern workplace solutions in Pakistan, particularly in light of the growing emphasis on business and technology priorities. Attendees explored the potential of Mac and Apple's ecosystem to boost workplace productivity, simplify business workflows, and facilitate seamless collaboration.

In addition to discussing the built-in security and data protection features of Apple technology, the session delved into the ease of device deployment and centralized management. These topics also included the long-term business value provided by Apple technology, specifically through total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) analyses.

Hassaan Saqib, CEO of DWP Technologies, emphasized the company's commitment to serving as a reliable partner for businesses in Pakistan. He highlighted that while modernizing work practices is a priority, companies need more than just hardware. They require a long-term partner capable of planning, deploying, and supporting their technology infrastructure. This was precisely the role that DWP Technologies aimed to fulfill at the event.
