Delhi Shocker: 47-Year-Old Married Man Sets Himself Ablaze Inside Factory After Friend’s 20-Year-Old Daughter Rejects Marriage Proposal

In a tragic incident in northwest Delhi's Wazirpur Industrial Area, a 47-year-old married man named Sandeep took his own life by setting himself on fire inside a utensil factory. The police report indicates that Sandeep's suicide was triggered by the end of his alleged friendship with the woman, who is his friend's 20-year-old daughter.

Sandeep, originally from Uttar Pradesh, lived with his wife and two children in Delhi. The woman, who worked at the factory, had reportedly stopped communicating with Sandeep after declining his marriage proposal. Distraught by her lack of response, Sandeep traveled to the factory carrying petrol bottles and made a desperate attempt to rekindle his relationship.

When his proposal was rejected, he ignited himself and was subsequently rescued by factory workers. The factory staff quickly extinguished the flames and rushed him to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A suicide note recovered by the police revealed that Sandeep held the woman accountable for the breakdown of their friendship and claimed this as the reason for his fatal decision.

The woman, however, denied any romantic involvement with Sandeep to the police. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination, and the family was informed about the incident. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
