Casper Ruud - Carlos Alcaraz en directo | Alcaraz se adjudica el primer set de la semifinal
El tenista español, que realizó una gran remontada ante Taylor Fritz, busca ante el noruego su primera final en este torneo
Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud are playing the second set of the Masters 1000 Paris semifinals on Saturday. The match began evenly, but the Spanish player gained a bit more momentum. Alcaraz had two break points at 1-1 and 2-2, but the Norwegian managed to save them. However, it was Alcaraz who emerged victorious at 3-3, breaking his opponent's serve and taking the lead, ultimately winning the first set 6-4.
The Spanish tennis star is seeking his first final in a tournament he has struggled in. This is his first semifinal appearance, coming after a dramatic quarterfinal victory over Taylor Fritz (6-7(10), 7-5, 6-3). He will face Norwegian player Casper Ruud next, who defeated Portuguese player Borges 7-6(5) and 6-4 throughout the tournament.
In their head-to-head, Alcaraz has a slight edge with six wins to Ruud's four. The winner will then face Ben Shelton, who defeated Van Assche in the other semifinal in three sets (5-7, 6-3, 6-4).
