President Bola Tinubu has received an assurance of three million votes from Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Fubara made the promise during a rally for Tinubu in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State. The governor pledged his and the state's unwavering support for Tinubu, vowing to stand by him, work for him, and deliver for him.
Fubara emphasized that Rivers has made its decision and there's no turning back, also stating that the era of division in Rivers politics has ended, with leaders now speaking with a unified voice in favor of Tinubu. He confidently declared that Tinubu's love for Rivers State will be reciprocated with votes in the 2027 elections.
Fubara did not merely speak, he added, but vowed to back up his words with the state's three million votes. He urged his supporters to return to their respective wards and units to kickstart the campaign, stressing that the votes will not fall from the sky.
