‘You'll know soon enough’ - Trump hints at fresh war with Iran

United States President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of the United States going back to war with Iran, according to reports on Thursday. The conflict, which began in February with the US and Israel, was aimed at preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump expressed a desire to completely dismantle Iran's nuclear program and potentially inflict further damage, though he indicated that might not be necessary.

Trump stated, "You'll know soon enough," after discussing the matter with his national security advisers. He added that the US had already achieved its objectives concerning Iran and would now decide the next course of action. The US Central Command, CENTCOM, is reportedly preparing for potential full-scale military operations in Iran, though no fresh orders have been received from Washington.

Several mediators have been traveling to Tehran for discussions, and Trump has also hinted at possible progress in ongoing negotiations to end the conflict.
