Umno-PAS sandaran Mustafa tingkat majoriti BN di Durian Tunggal

In Durian Tunggal, the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for DUN, Mustafa Musa, expressed confidence that cooperation between Umno and PAS could boost the combined majority's victory during the PRN Melaka election. He attributed this belief to the spirit of national unity, collaboration between the two parties, and leadership support identified as capable of attracting more voters.

"The previous majority was 500 more, and I believe that collaboration with PAS, coupled with the current political landscape and the people's desire to see national unity, will increase the number of votes BN will receive," he said. Following his walkabout in Durian Tunggal with former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Mustafa, who is contesting for the first time, credited BN leadership, component parties, and 'Friends of BN' with providing momentum to their campaign.

He emphasized that Ismail's presence served as a source of inspiration for the diverse parties, in addition to advising him to approach as many voters as possible. Mustafa is set to face the Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate, Ashraf Mukhlis Minghat. During the 2021 PRN Melaka, the incumbent BN candidate, Zahari Abdul Khalil, won the seat with a 559-vote majority.
