Twitter Gold: Caleb Foster 3, Tristan Thompson 0
Caleb Foster hit badass 2.0 on this play
In an unexpected turn of events during Duke's game against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, Caleb Foster of the Blue Devils was ejected after receiving his second technical foul. The game was notably physical, with an incident standing out at the center of the action. After blocking a drive by Foster, Tristan Thompson of Coastal Carolina began trash-talking.
As a response, Foster pointed to the scoreboard which read Duke leading by 53. He then inbounded the ball near the Duke bench and scored a three-pointer, further widening the gap to 56. Foster's actions proved to be wise, as Thompson had little to say about this display of sportsmanship and sharp shooting. For those not familiar, a Chanticleer is a rooster, derived from an Old French phrase meaning "sing clear."
