According to Trump, "There's going to be an agreement. It's going to be a big agreement, and it's going to involve more than Ukraine. I could even say it might involve all of Europe."

He expressed optimism, stating that all attendees would be delighted by the outcome. The meeting took place at a separate press conference, with Trump declining to disclose the specifics of their conversation.

Subsequently, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff announced that trilateral peace talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. were scheduled for November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi. Trump reaffirmed his belief in the imminent success of these negotiations, hinting at a comprehensive agreement that would extend beyond Ukraine's borders. No Ukrainian officials were present during this meeting, as confirmed by the president.

The path to these talks was not without challenges. On November 4, the European Commission convened a summit in Brussels, uniting U.S., Ukrainian, NATO, and European representatives to strategize ways to end Russia's ongoing war. However, peace discussions had been absent for months following previous U.S.-led attempts that failed to yield significant progress. Russia continued to demand significant concessions, hindering any meaningful dialogue.
