The Hindu Science fest in Shivamogga: Students exhibit many models on various themes

U.S. Representative Ro Khanna, a member of the Congressional Caucus on India, condemned "Hindu nationalism" and praised student protests in India following the country's recent election. Khanna, a Co-Chair of the Caucus and a frequent visitor to India, emphasized his belief in Gandhi and Nehru's vision of pluralism. The Ministry of External Affairs did not respond to inquiries regarding Khanna's statements.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) also criticized the Indian government for "vigilante attacks" on Sikh gurdwaras, urging the U.S. government to link security assistance to India's response to such violence.
