Susie Wiles reacts to removal as Trump's White House Chief of Staff

Susie Wiles, the former White House Chief of Staff under former US President Donald Trump, has expressed her enduring dedication to the president and his administration despite her recent removal from the position. Wiles informed her followers on X that Friday marked her final day as Chief of Staff, following President Trump's decision to replace her with Stephen Miller, a move made in the wake of the Republican Party's defeat in the midterm elections.

In a farewell statement, Wiles described her tenure in the White House as the greatest honor of her career, lauding the administration's accomplishments, especially in border security, tax cuts, economic growth, and the execution of the president's America First agenda. She emphasized her pride in the administration's achievements and expressed gratitude for the remarkable individuals she worked with.

Despite the change in her role, Wiles reiterated her unwavering commitment to President Trump and the mission. Her stance follows Trump's announcement of Miller's appointment as the new Chief of Staff, while Wiles would transition to a role involving political operations. This leadership shift follows the Republican Party's poor performance in the midterm elections, which saw the Democrats gaining control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Former US President Barack Obama has attributed the Republican's defeat to Trump's perceived divisive approach.
