'Ramayana' scores Rs 64.85 net opening in India
Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana: Rise of a Legend’ began its run with Rs 64.85 crore net on Day 1. Although strong pre-sales were reported, the figures did not meet the anticipated Rs 100 crore opening. The collections varied across different language versions, with Hindi leading at Rs 47.50 crore. Internationally, the North American opening also underperformed compared to initial projections.
