Prediction: This Is How Much XRP Will Be Worth by the End of 2030

Crypto expert predicts XRP to reach $2 by 2030, lower than bullish expectations

Future price predictions for cryptocurrency XRP often paint a highly optimistic picture. Even though XRP currently sits around $1, it's common to come across price targets as high as $100. However, the crypto bulls' excitement over XRP reaching $1,000 has not materialized. Over the past decade, XRP has never managed to surpass $3.84 in trading. Despite this, there is still potential for XRP to increase in value over the next few years. Nevertheless, a more rational expectation would be for XRP to hit $2 by the end of 2030.

At first glance, a $2 price target may seem unimpressive. After all, XRP has reached $3.65 last summer before falling back to $3.40 earlier in 2025. However, imagine the extraordinary growth rate XRP would need to regain the $4 level within a few years. To move from its current value of $1 to $4, XRP would need to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 40%.

This figure places XRP ahead of both Bitcoin, which has delivered a 37% CAGR over the past decade, and Ethereum, which has had a 23% CAGR. Investors are essentially asking XRP to outperform these market leaders in growth.

To realistically achieve growth, XRP needs to discover new use cases for its token, currently employed primarily as a bridge currency for international transactions. One promising application is the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) on the XRP blockchain ledger. Additionally, the regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies needs to stay favorable, with new legislation promoting the adoption of blockchain-based payment technology by financial institutions and banks.

Although this legislation seemed set to pass this year, the Clarity Act stalled in the Senate in September. If both these factors come to fruition, XRP could experience a significant breakout. However, it's crucial to keep expectations in check. While XRP may not make it to $10, $100, or $1,000, it is plausible for XRP to double in value and reach $2 by the end of 2030.
