POCO X8s Officially Lands In Malaysia With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, 6,330mAh Battery

In Malaysia, the POCO X8s has officially launched, offering a more compact and still powerful alternative in the POCO X8 series. Boasting a micro-curved aluminium frame with a glass back, this device provides a comfortable and sleek design. The slim profile of 8.06mm and weight of 187g make it lighter and thinner compared to its siblings.

The display features a 6.35-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with thin 1.18mm bezels and an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The phone also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor with wet touch support.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Storage options range from 8GB+256GB to 12GB+512GB. A 6,330mAh battery keeps the phone running, with 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging capabilities. The 3D IceLoop system helps keep the device cool during demanding tasks. The imaging capabilities are provided by a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor.

On the front, a 20MP selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole cutout. The phone also includes dual speakers for enhanced audio and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. In Malaysia, the POCO X8s is available in three colour options: Black, Blue, and White. The 8GB+256GB model is priced at RM1,899, while the 12GB+512GB variant retails for RM2,099.
