Abia State Governor Alex Otti has pledged ongoing support to the newly appointed Commandant of the Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance. Otti encouraged the new commandant, Commodore Emmanuel Onu, to build upon the successes of his predecessor and strive for greater accomplishments. He also paid tribute to Commodore B.U.
Quadri, the outgoing commandant, for his professionalism and dedication during his 19-month tenure. Otti expressed his expectation that Onu would surpass Quadri's achievements, stating that bright leaders want their successors to excel. Otti assured Onu that he would receive the same level of support as his predecessor and emphasized the importance of open communication between the state government and the Navy.
Quadri, in turn, thanked Otti for his support during his tour of duty, highlighting Quadri's contributions to the state's security architecture and monthly Security Council meetings.
