Molly Miller Goes Viral For Sideline Outfit As Fans Discover Arizona State Coach’s Remarkable Basketball Success

Molly Miller, the 41-year-old Arizona State women's basketball coach, has become an internet sensation after donning a stylish all-black outfit during a recent game. The coach's fashionable ensemble quickly went viral, piquing fans' curiosity about where they could purchase her top. However, Miller's notoriety extends far beyond her fashion choices.

Miller, who was born in Springfield, Missouri, showcased her coaching prowess by transforming a struggling Arizona State program into a competitive force within just one season. In her first year, the Sun Devils went 24-11, setting a school record for the most victories by a first-year head coach. They also returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019, marking a significant turnaround for a program that had struggled to find consistency.

Before joining Arizona State, Miller built an impressive reputation in women's college basketball. She led Drury University to 180 victories during her six seasons as a coach. Her success at Grand Canyon University, where she compiled a 117-38 record and led the Antelopes to an NCAA Tournament appearance in her final season, further solidified her reputation as one of the most successful women's college basketball coaches.

Miller was hired by Arizona State in March 2025 to revitalize the struggling program. Her arrival coincided with the team's opening game against Jackson State, where she made a striking impression in her black outfit. The Sun Devils ultimately secured an impressive 84-41 victory, with Heloisa Carrera leading the charge with 15 points and nine rebounds.
