New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson made his Law & Order: SVU debut in Thursday's episode titled "Forsaken". The episode revolved around a young woman named Chloe, who was attacked at a wedding reception. Brunson played Det. Jay Madison, a police officer involved in the incident. The episode dealt with the complex relationships between Chloe, her father Rick, and her overbearing mother Monica.
Madison's character was called to the scene by Capt. Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay, who congratulated him on his promotion to detective. The plot thickened when Madison and his partner stopped a vehicle and found items matching the weapon used in Chloe's assault. The case eventually went to trial, with significant testimony from Chloe and her young brother, Evan.
