JENNIE’s ‘Someone to Hold’ Is Here: Stream It Now
The fresh cut will appear on the soundtrack for the forthcoming Netflix animated film, "Steps."
JENNIE releases her latest solo track "Someone to Hold" in time for the upcoming Netflix animated film, Steps. The BLACKPINK artist collaborated on the melodic neo-disco production, written and produced by Justin Tranter. The song celebrates an enduring bond with the singer declaring, "You're still the only one I want in every life."
Tranter sees "Someone to Hold" as "pure danceable joy inspired by vintage organic dance pop." Steps tells a new version of Cinderella, with Lilith (Ali Wong) stealing the Fairy Godmother's (Bette Midler) magic wand and disrupting the Royal Ball. JENNIE's upbeat anthem embodies the film's themes of sisterhood and thriving despite adversity. Directed by Alyce Tzue and John Ripa, Steps arrives on Netflix Nov. 20 alongside its soundtrack.
