Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, highlighted the need for greater attention to climate change and population growth, projecting Pakistan's population will reach 270 million by 2030. Dr. Yaqoob Khan Bangash, Professor & Dean of SESS, emphasized the importance of transitioning from merely surviving crises to actively moving beyond them.

Prof. Adil Najam, Dean Emeritus & Professor at Boston University, delivered the opening keynote address on climate change and adaptation, arguing climate impacts are a present reality that must be integrated into policies across various sectors. Prof. Iwi Ugiagbe-Green, Professor of Equity in Education, shared insights on measuring prosperity based on people's well-being and the planet's capacity to sustain life.

Day 1 featured sessions on resilience, ethical leadership, and sustainability, while Day 2 focused on research-driven solutions and the potential of Pakistan as a middle power. Notable keynote speeches included Senator Musadik Malik's discussion on foreign exchange and climate disasters, Senator Sherry Rehman's presentation on solar energy, and panel discussions on job creation, gender and water conflicts, populism, AI in economic policy, and loss and damage from floods in South Asia.
