HESCO directs resolution of power supply issues in SITE

In a meeting with HESCO Chief Faizullah Dahri, the President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry, Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, highlighted the severe problems caused by unscheduled load shedding, prolonged shutdowns, and delays in power restoration on various HESCO industrial feeders. These issues are particularly severe on the SITE, Indus, Hosri, and Fazal Gulzar feeders.

Siddiqui stressed that uninterrupted electricity supply is crucial for the smooth operation of businesses. He emphasized that the issues affecting electricity supply must be addressed promptly to prevent significant financial losses for industries.

Siddiqui urged HESCO to enhance its power distribution system and eliminate unscheduled outages. He was joined by other senior officials from the Hyderabad Chamber, including Muhammad Fahad Mian, Irfan Arbiani, Saleemuddin Qureshi, Suhail Memon, and Amir Shahab, who all echoed the importance of improving feeders' performance, reducing power outage durations, and ensuring priority-based electricity supply to industrial and commercial areas.

HESCO Chief Dahri acknowledged the delegation's concerns and promised to take decisive actions to resolve the electricity supply issues within one month. He assured that industries, being HESCO's valued customers, would receive necessary facilities as a top priority.

A follow-up meeting is scheduled for December 4 to assess the progress made during the one-month period. If the issues remain unresolved, further decisions will be made based on the current situation.
