GTA 6's massive 212GB download can be finished in under 30 minutes with Spectrum's free Gig Speed Lift — eligible customers get upgraded to 1 Gbps through Thanksgiving
From November 9 to 30, Spectrum is offering eligible customers a free Gig Speed Lift, allowing folks to download GTA 6 in 30 minutes. Here are the details.
GTA 6, an upcoming open-world game from Rockstar, will have a massive 212GB install size when it releases on November 19. To accommodate this large file, Spectrum is offering eligible customers a free Gig Speed Lift from November 9 to 30. This upgrade boosts their internet speed to 1 Gbps, or 2 Gbps if they already have 1 Gbps, allowing them to download GTA 6 in less than 30 minutes.
The game's map is three times larger than Red Dead Redemption 2's, making it an even larger undertaking to download. Spectrum's generous offer gives customers more time to play their favorite game without worrying about long download times.
