Grand Theft Auto VI is almost here — what to know before the Nov 19 release

Grand Theft Auto VI, the eighth installment in the renowned franchise, is set to release on November 19. Developed by Rockstar, the game will again transport players to Vice City, a Miami-inspired metropolis in the fictional state of Leonida, Florida. Players will assume the roles of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a Bonnie and Clyde duo, exploring a two-fold larger world with 10 times more buildings than its predecessor.

The game features a wealth of characters, including a hacker, a CEO, and a strip club owner, all contributing to the game's satirical commentary on modern society. Gameplay will involve heists, robberies, drug deals, and assassinations, with the police pursuing players for their actions. The game's graphics and animations have been enhanced by the latest generation of consoles, and an original soundtrack featuring artists like Travis Scott and Keith Richards is included.

Preorders began on June 25, and the game can be purchased online or in stores, with a special edition priced at $99.99.
