Dubai Run 2026 guide: Date, registration details, bib collection and more

Dubai Run, a flagship event of the month-long Dubai Fitness Challenge, is set to take place on Sunday, November 22. The event will see the 14-lane Sheikh Zayed Road closed to motorists for a few hours in the early morning, with the first wave of runners starting at 6.30am. The free, open-to-all event has grown in popularity, with 307,000 participants taking part last year.

Dubai Run offers two routes, both on Sheikh Zayed Road: a 5km route and a 10km route. The 5km route is flat, making it suitable for all ages and fitness levels, while the 10km route is more challenging, designed for experienced participants. Participants can choose their preferred route and time slot when registering online.

Bib collection for the event will be held at Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village, Zabeel Park, from November 9 to November 21, between 4pm and 11pm on Mondays to Thursdays, noon to 11pm on Fridays, and 8am to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Participants must bring their QR codes to collect their bibs and free T-shirts, as bibs are essential for safety reasons.

Parking is available near the starting line, but the organizers recommend using the Dubai Metro due to road closures. Those registered for the 5km route should head to the World Trade Centre metro station, while those running the 10km route can go to the Emirates Towers station. Registered participants will receive detailed route maps and parking options closer to the event.
