Chisora anticipates fireworks at Joshua vs Fury

Heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora foresees an explosive bout when Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua clash in Cardiff on December 11, asserting the fight is timely. The event will occur at the Principality Stadium and be broadcast on Netflix. While many consider the match overdue, Chisora, 42, disagrees, stating the fight should have happened years ago.

The former three-time loser to Fury has not retired, despite his April defeat to Deontay Wilder. He maintains contact with Joshua during his training camp, expressing excitement about the upcoming fight.

Chisora highlights the anticipation surrounding the clash, emphasizing that the bout is occurring at the perfect time. Joshua enters the contest as the underdog, having defeated Jake Paul by sixth round in December 2025 and stopped Kristian Prenga after being knocked down in the first round of their July encounter. However, Chisora remains confident in his power, predicting that Anthony Joshua (AJ) must defeat him within the first six rounds for the evening to remain competitive.

Chisora anticipates Fury will try to increase his pace, noting the older boxer's endurance enables him to sustain the tempo throughout the 12 rounds.
