Buy the last ever DSLR from this classic brand before it’s gone forever
The Pentax K-1 Mark II may be old, but this full-frame DSLR is a classic, and it's now cheaper than ever! The post Buy the last ever DSLR from this classic brand before it’s gone forever appeared first on Amateur Photographer .
Pentax DSLRs are reportedly gone in the UK, as Camera Price Buster reports there are only a few retailers still selling a few Pentax K-1 Mark II cameras with significant discounts. The US market has limited stock as well, with the Kf cameras no longer available in the UK. The Pentax K-1 Mark II is said to be an "end of year offer," reminiscent of previous news from Ricoh/Pentax regarding the end of Pentax DSLRs.
This shift to a new camera concept leaves many wondering if DSLRs are truly a thing of the past. As Canon and Nikon continue to release mirrorless cameras, Pentax's DSLR production seems to be winding down. While used cameras and lenses might still be available, it appears that the era of Pentax DSLRs is drawing to a close. Prices are subject to change, so be sure to verify with the retailer's website before making a purchase.
