BJP, RSS Plan Joint Booth-Level Campaign Ahead Of 2027 UP Assembly Polls

Lucknow: The BJP is preparing to join forces with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for a joint booth-level campaign ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. After conducting several foot marches, the party will intensify its efforts through door-to-door outreach, direct voter interaction, and collaboration with RSS volunteers.

The proposed strategy involves forming joint teams comprising BJP workers and RSS volunteers at the booth level. These teams will visit homes to engage with voters, gather their concerns, expectations, and grievances. The campaign will also incorporate village-level gram chaupals to facilitate direct conversations with local residents, helping to understand the issues affecting them.

This move comes at a time when questions have frequently arisen regarding the limited coordination between the BJP and the RSS at the grassroot level. Bridging this gap and enhancing coordination between the two organizations has become a top priority in the lead-up to the Assembly elections. The formation of joint teams is expected to bring workers of both organizations together, encourage them to share responsibilities, and bolster the BJP's presence among voters.

The BJP aims to revamp its booth management machinery before the 2027 elections by combining the RSS's extensive organizational network with its own electoral infrastructure.
