Alabama football gets crucial Ryan Coleman-Williams injury update for LSU bout

For the highly anticipated Alabama football matchup against LSU on Saturday, a crucial injury update regarding star wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams has emerged. As Coleman-Williams is set to return for the Crimson Tide, the latest news brings relief to fans eagerly awaiting his return. According to college football insiders Pete Nakos and Chris Low of On3 Sports, Coleman-Williams is "currently expected to play" against LSU.

The update comes after LSU head coach Lane Kiffin predicted Coleman-Williams' participation during his radio show, stating that "I would expect him to play" and highlighting Alabama's history of swiftly returning athletes to the field.

Coleman-Williams missed the last two games due to a concussion suffered in October's 20-17 loss to Georgia and subsequently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a meniscus injury. Despite these setbacks, Alabama junior Coleman-Williams has shown determination, as head coach Kalen DeBoer reported that he has been diligently working to get back on the field.

DeBoer emphasized that multiple players, including Coleman-Williams, Zabien Brown, EJ Crowell, Racin Delgatty, and Terrance Green, are actively participating in workouts, taking both team and non-contact reps. With this update, Alabama football's Kalen DeBoer solidifies Coleman-Williams as a vital offensive asset for quarterback Keelon Russell as the No. 5 program aims to secure their second consecutive win and defeat LSU's No. 14 team.
