During a presidential campaign rally in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, President Bola Tinubu ridiculed Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. Tinubu alleged that Atiku left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, because of minor irritations and formed a perilous AD camp in a different party.
He questioned Atiku's suitability to lead Nigeria, citing his lack of leadership qualities and character. The president urged Akwa Ibom residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and cast their votes wisely, aiming for a brighter future. Tinubu promised development, education, job creation, and economic growth, emphasizing the potential of palm trees and the palm industry in the region.
He questioned whether a man who once was a part of the PDP, grew within its ranks, and later abandoned it due to slight inconveniences, deserves to be voted for as a presidential candidate.
