2027: Tinubu tackles Obi, Atiku over leadership records
President Bola Tinubu has criticised former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar over their political affiliations and leadership credentials ahead of the 2027 general elections. During his visit to Akwa Ibom State, Tinubu referred to Obi's failure to tackle erosion in Anambra State, contrasting it with his own claim of confronting the Atlantic Ocean during his tenure as Lagos governor.
He also questioned Atiku's political loyalty, in an apparent reference to his defection from the People's Democratic Party to the African Democratic Congress.
