VisionQuest Just Teased an Iconic Marvel Superhero Team
VisionQuest just teased an iconic Marvel superhero team. Could they be entering the MCU next?
In the penultimate episode of Marvel's VisionQuest, Paul Bettany's Vision delves into his subconscious, unveiling previously unknown details about the history of the MCU that could potentially answer a long-standing fan question: Did the Invaders ever exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The Invaders were an iconic superhero team from Marvel Comics, consisting of Captain America, Namor, and the original Human Torch, among others.
These heroes operated during World War II, but their existence in the MCU had never been confirmed. However, VisionQuest Episode 7, "Immolation," provides a compelling answer to this query. The episode reveals that the original Human Torch, Jim Hammond, was indeed a member of the Invaders and was activated during World War II, aligning with the team's origins in the comics.
With this revelation, the possibility of the Invaders' existence within the MCU suddenly becomes less of a far-fetched notion.
