Galatasaray have secured a new No.10, Aleksey Batrakov, who could potentially address their concerns when Victor Osimhen is unavailable or in poor form, according to Tivibu Spor commentator Erman Özgür. Özgür made this observation following Galatasaray's recent 2-0 UEFA Champions League win over Stuttgart at Rams Park, thanks to a brace from Batrakov.
Furthermore, he urged fans to stop lavishing praise on Dries Mertens, as Batrakov is now contributing significantly to Galatasaray's goal tally in most matches. Özgür confirmed that Galatasaray has now found another exceptional talent in Batrakov, capable of stepping up when Osimhen is absent or underperforming. The commentator emphasized that no one should continue to praise Mertens; Batrakov has emerged as a very special No.10, starting to make an impact on the scoreboard in nearly every match.
