Tube Investments Q2 FY27 Earnings Shift Into Top Gear As Net Profit Soars 39% To ₹420.58 Crore, Revenue Zooms 33% To ₹7,330 Crore While Board Clears ₹83 Crore Expansion Plan

Mumbai: Premier Energies posted a 30.8% year-over-year jump in profit to ₹462.4 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, driven by higher revenue and robust solar equipment production. The solar firm unveiled a ₹12,500 crore capital expenditure plan to expand manufacturing capacity and broaden its product offerings.

Revenue growth accelerated to 38.2% year-over-year, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 17.8% to ₹760 crore. EBITDA margin improved to 28.6% in the quarter. The company's ₹3,300-crore Andhra Pradesh project commenced operations, increasing solar capacity to 10.6 GW. Profit after tax climbed to 17.4% of revenue.

Premier Energies produced 916 MW of solar cells, with 99% capacity utilisation, and 1,199 MW of solar modules. Transformer production amounted to 761 MVA, underscoring robust manufacturing activity. The company commissioned its 7 GW N-type TOPCon solar cell plant in Andhra Pradesh during September 2026, boosting production capacity in advanced solar cell technology.

Managing Director Chiranjeev Saluja cited operational excellence and disciplined execution for the solid performance, with investors to watch capacity utilisation, expansion implementation and profitability in upcoming quarters.
