Trump predicts major Russia deal beyond Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has predicted a "very big" deal with Russia that would potentially involve all of Europe in addition to the war in Ukraine, according to Punch and Punch Nigeria.

During a meeting at the White House on Thursday, US first lady Melania Trump hosted officials from Ukraine and Russia in an effort to build on a localized six-day truce in the city of Oleshky. Melania Trump called for a more enduring ceasefire and stated that she was sending personal letters to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky via their envoys. She urged the leaders to use the Oleshky ceasefire as a precedent for advancing peace throughout the region.
