‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’ Drops for Nintendo Switch 2: Here’s Where to Shop the Remake Online

"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" has been remade for the Nintendo Switch 2, introducing the iconic game to a new generation of players. The remake is available with prices starting at $59.99 for a digital download, or $69.99 for a physical copy, with options to purchase either on Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon or other retailers starting from Thursday, November 5.

Although the story, gameplay, and puzzles remain largely the same as the original Nintendo 64 release, the remake boasts enhanced modern graphics, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, symphonic orchestral music, and other quality-of-life upgrades.

The Ocarina, an ancient wind instrument, plays a pivotal role in the game. Players can use it to solve puzzles, warp to different parts of the map, control time, and other mechanics. For those who don't have the console's microphone, a dedicated Ocarina of Time controller is also available for $49.99 at Best Buy.
