Thane's Upvan Lake will host its first-ever Diwali Wonderland 2026 from November 6 to 11. Organized by Yuva Sena and presented by the V.B. Group of Companies, the six-day carnival will see over 50 live performances from artists blending Indian and Western music. The official opening ceremony takes place on November 6 at 7:00 PM, with Maharashtra Minister for Transport Pratap Sarnaik and Thane Mayor Sharmila Pimpalolkar in attendance.
Key highlights of the event include a traditional Diwali Pahat musical program on November 8 at 6:30 AM, photography and reel-making competitions for youth, and traditional attire contests. Thane District Administration has banned sky lanterns during Diwali to ensure public safety. The festival will feature decorative lighting, children's entertainment zones, and public lucky-draw contests.
Yuva Sena volunteers will also conduct a relief campaign for drought-affected farmers. Working President Purvesh Pratap Sarnaik invites residents to attend the festival to experience the cultural showcase and explore exclusive property deals in the area.
