Shaquille O'Neal Reacts to Stunning Performance From Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama delivered an extraordinary performance in the San Antonio Spurs' 112-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. The 7-foot-4 Frenchman put up impressive numbers, tallying 52 points, 24 rebounds, and eight blocks. His display caught the attention of NBA legends, with Shaquille O Neal among them. After the closely contested game, O Neal praised Wembanyama's skill, saying, "We've never seen a player like him do the things he can do."

O Neal further commented on Wembanyama's response to a less successful game the previous night. After putting up only 12 points and 11 rebounds in a win over the Utah Jazz, O Neal noted, "That's how you respond when you have a bad game." He commended Wembanyama for his focus in the first half and his ability to play to his size. O Neal emphasized that great players strive to avoid consecutive bad performances.

Wembanyama's shooting accuracy was on full display, connecting on 16 of 28 field goals and 19 of 23 free throws. Currently, the reigning Western Conference Finals MVP averages 29 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks per game this season. As Wembanyama and the Spurs aim to maintain their positive momentum, they will face the Sacramento Kings in an NBA Cup matchup on Friday night.
