Sean McVay explains how Kliff Kingsbury has 'added tremendous value' to Rams
Sean McVay loves having Kliff Kingsbury on his Rams staff, describing what he brings to the team.
Los Angeles Rams assistant head coach Kliff Kingsbury is set to face his former team, the Washington Commanders, for the first time since he left the organization this offseason. As the Commanders' offensive coordinator, Kingsbury played a crucial role in quarterback Jayden Daniels earning the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year and the team’s playoff run in 2024.
Despite Kingsbury's decision to stay with Washington, his knowledge and expertise were invaluable to Sean McVay, the Rams' head coach. McVay expressed immense gratitude for Kingsbury's contributions, noting his profound understanding of the game, strategic thinking, and ability to provide honest, constructive feedback. McVay emphasized that Kingsbury's consistency, work ethic, and leadership have been instrumental in helping the Rams navigate a challenging season.
As the Rams prepare to travel to Maryland and aim for their first winning record, the partnership between McVay and Kingsbury has proven to be a defining force in the team's success.
