Saudi Arabia issues warning of potential danger in Yanbu oil hub

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in media, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador Rajeh Tami Albugamy in Islamabad, Tarar proposed introducing Pakistani dramas in Saudi Arabia, noting that they reflect family values, Eastern traditions, and Islamic culture.

The two nations, he emphasized, are experiencing a new level of relations, with potential for cooperation in various fields such as media, culture, drama, music, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. The Makkah Defence Agreement, Tarar pointed out, underscores a robust defense partnership between the two countries. Both sides pledged to promote cooperation in the realms of information, broadcasting, media, and culture.

Tarar suggested the exchange of delegations consisting of writers, poets, artists, musicians, media personnel, and digital content creators. He also invited Saudi media representatives, tourists, and digital influencers to explore Pakistan's natural beauty and historical sites. Tarar stressed the necessity of joint efforts to combat misinformation and negative propaganda, enhance fact-checking mechanisms, and produce content that embodies the shared cultural values of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He proposed the formation of a joint working group with focal points and technical teams from both nations to accomplish these goals. The Saudi ambassador expressed pride in the strong brotherly relations, mutual trust, respect, and political and military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
