Bollywood actor Salman Khan has faced social media backlash over the inclusion of a romantic dance number titled 'Teri Sexy Beauty' in his upcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The song, which marks Salman's return to playback singing after 11 years, has sparked controversy due to its perceived inappropriateness for a film centered on the sacrifice of Indian Army personnel.
The video features Salman and actress Chitrangda Singh sharing flirtatious moments, with Chitrangda appearing in a red saree. The film, inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, sees Salman playing an Army officer alongside Chitrangda Singh as his wife. The song's lyrics and presentation have drawn criticism, with some questioning the decision to include a romantic party number in a film dedicated to the memory of soldiers who lost their lives in the confrontation.
