Rapper Kodak Black Will Be in NPC in GTA 6, Creating Speculation Over Other Artists Appearing In-Game

Rapper Kodak Black will be featured as an NPC in Grand Theft Auto 6, according to new screenshots released by Rockstar Games. The confirmation comes after the release of 39 new images promoting the highly anticipated game, which is just two weeks away from its launch. In one of the screenshots, Kodak Black is depicted holding a cup with the Jack of Hearts logo, a club featured in various promotional materials for the game.

It has been widely speculated that the club would showcase a range of real-world artists, and Kodak Black's inclusion supports this theory. While it's unclear if other artists from the game's soundtrack, such as Travis Scott, will also make appearances in-game, Rockstar Games has not ruled out the possibility. In previous GTA titles, real DJs like Solomun, Tale of Us, and Dixon have appeared in nightclubs, suggesting that the developers may have secured performances from artists for GTA 6.

The game's radio stations will also include performances by notable musicians such as Lana Del Rey, Bad Bunny, and Morgan Wallen. Rockstar Games has kept the identity of many of the game's characters under wraps to maintain the element of surprise for the launch. Pre-loading for GTA 6 will begin on November 10, and the game will require approximately 212 GB of storage space, so players may want to ensure they have enough room to accommodate the game upon release.
