Quebecor reports Q3 profit and revenue up from year ago

Montreal - Quebecor Inc. reported increased profit and revenue for the third quarter of the year, outperforming the same period a year prior. The telecommunications and media sectors contributed to this growth. The company disclosed a net income of $302.6 million, or $1.33 per share, for the quarter ending September 30, 2026. This figure rose from $238.7 million, or $1.03 per share, in the corresponding period last year.

Adjusted earnings per share also improved, reaching $1.32 from $1.05 in the same quarter of 2025. Revenue for the quarter reached $1.45 billion, an increase from $1.41 billion in Q3 2025. Net revenue from telecommunications rose to $1.27 billion, up from $1.22 billion a year earlier. Meanwhile, media revenue amounted to $154.2 million, a slight increase from $152.1 million in the same quarter last year.

However, revenue from sports and entertainment declined to $64.5 million, down from $68.3 million in the previous quarter.
