NAS weighs in more than 33kg heavier than Paul Gallen
Nelson Asofa-Solomona has continued his verbal attack on Paul Gallen, setting the scene for an explosive heavyweight bout between the NRL premiership winners.
Nelson Asofa-Solomona's weigh-in for his bout with Paul Gallen was reported to be 137.5kg, nearly 33kg heavier than Gallen's official weight of 104.18kg. The Sharks legend revealed that some of Gallen's former teammates and colleagues have been urging him to defeat the ex-Storm player. The main event is scheduled to take place on Friday at 7:00pm AEDT at Sydney's TikTok Entertainment Centre.
Both fighters have engaged in a series of confrontational weigh-ins and verbal exchanges ahead of the fight, with Gallen expressing pride in competing against Asofa-Solomona, who is significantly heavier and younger than him. The fight will be exclusively broadcast on Fox Sports and Kayo's pay-per-view channel, Main Event, and costs $69.95 to view.
